Microsoft Word Evaluation
Where do I even begin on evaluating this program? Microsoft Word is something that has been in my
life for as long as I can remember, from my families old Dell to me writing this evaluation as we speak. It
has become so intergraded I find it hard to even imagine switching to any other document creating
program, and that’s coming from someone who is a diehard Apple user. I have even gone out of my way
to always purchase windows laptops for school or work when I have a MacBook.
Word itself is a huge program with so many different ways to create documents, edit them and share
them it can be overwhelming. To be honest it doesn’t outplay other software on ease of use nor on
design. It has the classic look of all Microsoft products, and sure it’s not as aesthetic as apple’s pages,
but it makes up for in history? Honestly, there are better document creating programs out there, but I
don’t see them replacing it anytime in the near future. Sometimes nostalgia outsells progress and it’s
easier to stay the same than progress.
