Objective:
I can 1) sing a popular Chinese song with rich vocabulary and grammars we have learned.
2) gain perspective about this popular Chinese cultural practice.
Task:
You and a partner are going to perform a song we have learned or you’ve learned by yourself and
approved by Laoshi.
Instructions:
1. Find a partner and sign up for a song on Google Classroom.
2. NO more than TWO pairs can sign up for the same song (so we get to practice a variety of
songs).
3. Memorize the lyrics, perform with expressions and movement.
4. Be creative and have fun! Feel free to dress up and bring props to perform!
5. If you decide to choose songs learned by yourself, show Liu Laoshi 5 songs you’ve selected,
and Laoshi will choose one of them.
- All 5 songs should be: 1) appropriate for school, 2) relevant to the 9 lessons we’ve learned,
3) rich in vocabulary and grammar structures.
