Three Main
Components
Design:

Contractors are responsible for creating the plans for a home or facility, so future
owners do not have to hire architects and designers independently.
Supply Procurement:

Contractors procure materials through their own networks of suppliers, rather than
the project owner or employer locating and purchasing supplies. Depending on the
kind of turnkey contract, the owner may be able to specify supplier and materials.
Construction:

From start to finish, the contractor handles all construction details. This relives the
owner of any time spent recruiting subcontractors or coordinating their hiring. A
newly built building/facility is handed over to its new owner after it is completed,
and the keys are passed to them.
