Philippines Presented By: Zipporah Cataluña Cabgan Cabgan Islet is located in the municipality of Barobo, Surigao del Sur. It is the best among the three (3) islands of Barobo in terms of sand quality, clarity of water, and fantastic view. Almost a hundred meters wide, Tinuy-an falls has the crown for being the widest waterfall in the Philippines. This three-tier, 55 meters high waterfall can be found in Bislig, Surigao del Sur. Matnog Pink Beach It has gained its fame due to its pink sands, mostly visible during sunrise and sunset when the soft rays of the sun reflect the radiant colors of the beach. The unique hue comes from broken coral pieces left behind by tiny marine creatures with red and pink shells. Located in Matnog, Sorsogon, the beach's fine, pink-tinged sand comes from crushed, red corals. ASIK ASIK About 140 meters wide and 60 meters high, this natural formation in Alamada, North Cotabato resembles a vast jade wall veiled with silky smooth curtains. Unlike most waterfalls, Asikasik does not have a visible water source at its top; instead, water flows out from the mountain's side like a series of springs. MALIGCONG BANAUE RICE TERRACES This is a scenic agricultural destination in Bontoc, Mountain Province featuring steep hillsides with rice terraces and pathways. Though not as famous as Banaue Rice Terraces, Maligcong offers a more spectacular view for those who just want to relax.
