Comment
Cardiac Chambers:
 Mildely dilated LV internal systolic dimension, mild increased wall thickness with moderately
impaired systolic function.
 Mild to moderate global hypokinesia specially infero-posterior wall , abnormal septal motion ,
Akinetic mid segment right ventricular free wall .
 Dilated linear anteroposterior LA dimensions.
 Dilated right atrium and right ventricle with impaired RV contractility.
 Intact interatrial and interventricular septae.
Cardiac valves:
 Mitral Valve: Calcific mitral valve leaflet with grade II/IV MR .
 Aortic Valve: Tri-sinus, Bicommisural, Bicuspid valve, thickened and heavily calcified
leaflet tip/body, estimated peak/mean PG= 17/9 mmHg, peak velocity= 2.07 m/s and AVA
by continuity equation= 1.5 cm² and indexed AVA = 0.75 cm² /m² (Moderate AS ). There is
moderate regurgitation ,
>> Estimated aortic valve annulus diameter = 2.6 cm
 Normal TV morphology and trivial regurgitation.
 Normal PV morphology with normal flow and trivial regurgitation.
Intracardiac masses:
 No visible intracardiac masses or thrombi by TTE.
Greet vessels:
 Aortic root dimensions >> * Sinus of Valsalva= 3.8 cm
* Ascending aorta= 4.4 cm
 Normal main pulmonary artery and its branches.
 Normal pulmonary venous drainage.
 Normal IVC and inspiratory collapse.
* Sino-tubular junction= 4.3 cm
Pericardium:
 Normal thickness with no effusion.
Conclusion:




Senile valvular heart disease , IHD with moderately impaired LVEF >>
Moderate AS , Moderate AR , grade II/IV MR , Dilated LA .
Severe TR with moderate pulmonary hypertension .
Mildely dilated ascending aorta .
