1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
First of all, for this assignment I did a small business as a seller which selling
perfume. Till this day many people wants to smell good either at home, school or in
public. Throughout my doing this business I learned a lot how to
promote sales items and interact with customers. On top of that, I was able to earn an
income from my own efforts and this was all the result of the guidance of many people
who never tired of answering whatever questions i have.
Next, my perfume that i sell have 4 variation that is kasturi kijang, honey
dew,fantasy and jasmin. I was also able to learn step by step to promote a business in
the right way. Although only as a small business but a lot of knowledge that I gained
like we have to always be positive in doing a job. When our mindsare positive, our work
will run smoothly and successfully. I hope that with all these experience i got to manage
any small business that might involve me in the future.

2.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
2.1 BEFORE ACTIVITY
The business I chose for this assignment is small perfume that is suitable for
going out or performing prayers. I bought all this perfume on shopee with a modal of
RM50 with a free shipping for order over RM15. There are many more variation that are
sold in the shopee but i chose only 4 that people mostly used. With these perfume
customers will have more confidence to appear in public and it is declared as sunnah to
wear it to perform prayers in masjid. The affordable price for this perfume is that i sold
this perfume for RM3 for each perfume.
2.2 4 P’S STRATEGY
Next, I will explain about the 4 P’s strategy used which is product price promotion and
place. Firstly is the product, This perfume is a small cylinder container which can be
carried easily and well prepared in a glass container to contain the freshness of the
perfume smell. Therefore this product can also last long because it contains a slight
chemical in these perfume but it will not bring harm to the users.
The second for 4P’s strategy is price. The second for the 4 P’s strategy is price. This
price is important because if it is too expensive,not all customers can afford it.
Therefore, with a price of RM3 for 1 tub, this is a affordable price for almost every type
of people.
Furthermore, the third for 4 P’s strategy is promotion. In the business, the importance of
promotion is to promote a business so that can be known by the community out there.
Through this promotion, we can also raise the sale of product for the company. In
addition, the last strategy is place. The place also plays an important role for a
business. As for the perfume this can be managed as hybrid either online or face to
face. So, if we use either way it will brings profit to the sellers. But since the Covid-19
pandemic, online sales have been very popular in the community
2.3 TARGET CUSTOMER
My target customers are teenagers and adults and elder people that are
going to the masjid. Most people like to smells good either inside their
home or outside. Especially for women. Most elder people used this
perfume to go to the masjid as a sunnah. What is interesting in these
perfume is that it is easy to carry anywhere and eco-friendly because it will
not bring discomfort to other people. Teenagers use this if they want to go
outside or go to class so that they do not bring discomfort to others people
and others will likely stay with them all the time.

4.1 AFTER ACTIVITY
For a month i was selling this perfume from door to door, instagram post whatsapp status and
many more, I managed to sell 8 units of the perfume. The profit I got is only RM2 for 8 unit even
though it is low I managed to gain enough experience that will help me in the future.This is my
first time to venture into this field of business. Furthermore, this business is done
during the fasting month so it may not receive a lot of responses. However, I am very delighted
because through this business I can increase my communication skills to interact with different
types of people.

5.0 EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Based on this assignment , I felt a little pressured because this is my first time
venturing into this business and I do not have enough money to provide cost for this
assignment but thankfully with the help of ebelia that i somehow managed to settle this
assignment. I never thought anyone want to buy this product, does many people want
this product?
On my first day selling this perfume i tried going door to door at the campus but
there are no one that are interested in my perfume that is mostly because they already
have a better and expensive perfume than i am selling. But i was told by others to not
give up and keep trying.
On the next day i tried to venture and promote on the social media such as
whatsapp and instagram luckily i found a friend that is willingly to buy 4 unit of the
perfume that is a relief to me because i did not believe that others will buy my cheap
perfume.
On a certain weekend i need to go back home because of family problems. Even
though at home i still promoting and ask my dad to ask either anyone wants to buy any
perfume. Luckily i met him at the masjid and he asked if he could buy this perfume to
waqaf at the masjid on that day i managed to sells 4 unit of perfume.
Day by day, I am already good at interacting with customers which is surprisingly not
my character and I no longer feel embarrassed to promote perfume on social media
even I became more eager to earn a side income for me. I began to feel that I should
continue what I had started a month ago. So, even though the term of this assignment
has ended but I will continue it to the next level.

7.0 CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I successfully finished this task on my own. I learned a lot of
useful skills during this business such as communication skills, product
endorsements and financial
management.
Firstly, I learned communication skills by interacting with the customers and
how to attract buyers to buy my product. I also learned how to deal with
agent efficiently so that my
business went smooth.
Secondly, I learned how to promote my product by developing a good
product endorsement. I discovered that seller need to acknowledge the
perfect time to post their product
on social media and creating an eye-opening and jaw dropping poster.
Thirdly, I learned the most important skills which is financial management. I
decided to set a suitable profit for this product so that it is not too
expensive or over price for my target
customer that is among the students.
Hence, this course has brought many benefits that include basic
entrepreneur skills to me in the future.
