Adverb of Affirmation
• The word which declare that something is true or some equivalent
expression or negative statement, judgment, or doctrine.
• Used to answer the questions raised by others.
• Examples: absolutely, affirmatively, all right, assuredly, avowedly,
aye, certainly, clearly, definitely, doubtlessly, exactly, obviously,
positively, really, surely, truly, undoubtedly, yes.
• Sample sentences:
He will surely give you money.
The soldier should certainly get an award for bravery.
We are definitely leaving tomorrow.
Yes. I have taken my exams.
Always knock before entering.
The custodian has always forgotten to empty my trash.
Adverb of Negation
• An adverb that makes a verb or another adverb negative in meaning.
• An adverb used in a sentence to deny it as true.
• Examples: almost, contradictorily, invalidly, never, no, not, rarely.

Your comment: Definitely. We should always follow traffic rules because it is
one of the most basic rules in our country. It can also save us from fast cars
that may hit you. If we always follow traffic rules, we will always be safe and
out of danger.

Your comment: Absolutely, because if their is an Official Receipt or OR it is
registered in the BIR, who collects the taxes. If their is no OR, it means that
they don't pay taxes. ORs are proofs of purchase or payment. With the taxes
collected, the government will have a higher budget for the programs and
development of the country.
• Don’t buy smuggled goods. Buy Local. Buy Filipino.
Your comment: We should absolutely not buy smuggled foods because it is
illegal. It is not allowed in our country. It may cause you to go to jail. We should
also support local products. It can help our economy to grow higher and
higher.
• Speak positively about us and our country.
Your comment: Filipinos should truly behave well and respect other people.
Every Filipino is a reflection of the culture of the Philippines. They should be
proud to be a Filipino because they have a Filipino blood.
• Respect your traffic officer, policeman, and other public servant.
Your comment: We should doubtlessly respect traffic officer, policemen and
other public servant because they have authority. In the Bible, it says that what
you sow is what you reap. If you respect and be kind to others, then they will
be good to you.
• Throw your garbage properly. Segregate. Recycle. Conserve.
Your comment: Philippines is the country of the Filipinos so they should
obviously take care of its environment to let it stay clean.
