PROVISION OF CALIBRATION, TESTING AND REPAIR SERVICES

Sun Creation Engineering Limited (hereinafter called 'SCE') will carry out the calibration, testing and repair services
at the discretion of SCE, who reserves the right to decline any application.
All calibration / test points and procedures used are to be decided by SCE unless specified. Service charge may vary
if additional calibration / test points are included and / or predetermined points are altered.
Extra service charge will be added if on-site calibration is required or requested.
Operation / Technical Manual and accessories (if any) of the equipment should also be submitted.
If adjustment is required during calibration, another quotation for adjustment charge will be forwarded separately.
If the submitted equipment is found defective upon arrival or during calibration, our one-stop service may provide
the required repair service. Details of repair charge and turn-around time will be quoted after inspection.
A partial fee will be charged to cover the workdone if the quotation of calibration is cancelled or the quotation of
repair is declined.
A Calibration / Test Certificate with calibration / test readings stating that our calibrators used are traceable to
National Standard will be issued.
SCE shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the equipment after SCE serviced.
SCE shall not be liable for the damage of the submitted equipment due to situations such as fire, theft or any
circumstances which are beyond SCE control.
SCE shall not be liable for any fault or damage however caused to the customer's equipment while in transit to or
from or in the custody of SCE unless the fault or damage was caused by SCE intentionally or recklessly.
Data backup should be performed by customer before the equipment is sent for calibration or repair. SCE is not
liable to any consequential damages caused by data loss during calibration, inspection and / or repair process.
Customer information will not be disclosed to a third party, except where the law requires doing so. However,
relevant information, like calibration certificate, test report and raw data etc., may be disclosed to Hong Kong
Accreditation Service (HKAS) Executive for accreditation assessment of SCE unless written notification is given by
customer in advance.
Relevant document (such as quotation) and company chop should be presented upon collection of equipment.
SCE reserves the right to dispose of the equipment not collected within 60 days.
One month warranty is given to the repair service that covers the labour cost and applies to the repeat fault only.
Validity of quotation is 60 days for calibration and 30 days for repair.

Payments may be made in person or by post and should be settled within 30 days of invoice date by company cheque,
purchasing card or in cash.
Cheque should be made payable to 'Sun Creation Engineering Limited' and crossed.
