has been raising and transferring into the new generation specially in youth and make
people unsafe every where
and people aware what to do after mobile snatching,
reporting to CPLC and Police Station to stop the reselling of snatched mobile by noting
their IMEI Number by dialing *#06# to reduce their depression and come our from the
fear of snatching mobile.

The phenomenon of the crime snatching phones really depresses the people. The
domain of the interviewed people, articles, reports, videos and other materialistic fact that
have been researched for the snatching mobile vividly shows that the people are really
feel depress while talking mobile in car, in street, on road, on bike, in bus even the people
who can afford have a separate mobiles to give the snatcher to save the expensive one.
And they don’t have any satisfactory palace to report and recover their mobiles.

There are many crimes have been committing in Pakistan has been facing
problems like socio-economic, political, terrorism, energy etc. 1st is Energy problem, 2nd
Crime Problem and 3rd Law and Order Situation in Pakistan which is connected to the
mobile snatching.
But in resolving rank the Law and Order Situation is at top most priority because
it impacts on people life negatively and taking unemployed people at deteriorated side.
The reduction in the crime make people happier and their fear and depression will reduce.

3.1 Research Methodology
This study is conducted on a qualitative paradigm of research because it is dealing
with the perception of people are having miserable life everywhere in the city on account
of mobile snatching and their fear is raising day after day.
Perception variables reflecting attitudes, preferences and priorities, and the number
of similar responses with respect to each variable can be numerically added up, but
variables themselves cannot be quantified. In the qualitative approach, the society being
studied it self defines the term.
The qualitative approach defines snatching mobiles so as to capture the process of
interactions between social, cultural, political and economic factors. It includes a wider
range of factors vulnerability, fear, lives, depression, dignity of controlling authority and
any definition of mobile snatching does the qualitative approach.
4.1 Results:
The respondents reflected different views according to the above questions. many
respondents have face this incident at least twice among amazing thing to know is some
respondents do not face ,as yet, this incidents specially the women. According to our
searching every two respondents in ten has not face the incident as yet. The respondents
reflected that the age of the snatchers near about 18 to 24 which indicates that the crime
is being conducted by younger or who recently come to the age of majority (Adult). This
sparks that government should take an action to survive youngsters from the crime and

provide them free education to find out a job or provide them self employment credits as
Green Rickshaw or Chingchi Rickshaw etc what ever not burdensome to the government
as well as the debtors.
The respondents feedback that, it seems the unemployment has increased in past few
years and the poverty taking place rapidly specially in the era of (2008-2013) Asif Ali
Zardari government people who were earning low income due to indirect taxes
imposition on consumers may poor people force to do this kind of incident to survive
themselves and doing so they are used to it because it does not take any struggle and easy
to make money. Some respondents are view that rich family’s members do this for
enjoyment because they have influence to release their children. Others view that the law
and situation is not in control even some policemen are also involve in this incidents and
take advantage of having weapons and their job and feel very relax due of being
policemen.
Some respondents are view that the involvement of the political parties should not be
neglected. As many crimes are being conducted in the supervision of the political parties
due to the police stations near their areas are totally control by them that’s why street
crime specially snatching mobile has been arising. Most the respondents know the
reporting authorities CPLC and some directly reported to the police station nearby the
incident place. Some of the victims save their IMEI number (Unique 15 codes) *#06#
and reported to CPLC to stop the reselling of mobile that is the main duty of the citizens
which can reduce the crime without wasting time and making cost to go reporting

authorities. Optimistically people are in view that the it is making social, Economical and
cultural worsening us.
5.1 Future
Any research is conducted due the idea generated in mind that effect the society
and spread gradually. The researchers make aware of people or find out the facts
regarding the idea and make report over it to further work over it the research we
conducted may left over some true factors but it will help the others who has same
hypothesis and it could be a government institution or any authority which has
responsible to resolve this crime.
