PROJECT
NAME – ANSHIKA CHOUDHARY
CLASS- 9A
SUBJECT – CHEMISTRY
MATTER

MATTER ARE ANYTHING WITH OCCUPY SPACE
AND HAVE MASS .
MATTER EX –
WOOD , OIL, MILK ,
NITROGEN , TREE
ETC
NON MATTER EX
RAINBOW LOVE ,
FEELINGS ETC
solid
State
of
matter
liqiud
gases
THE SOLID STATE
Solid are closely packed.
 They have fixed shapes.
 They have fixed volume
 They have high density .
 They do not have the property of diffusion .
 Ex – ice , wall , apple

THE LIQUID STATE
Liquid are loosely packed.
 they do not have fixed shape.
 They have fixed volume .
 They have lesser density as compared to solids
 They can easily diffuse.
 Ex – water, oil, milk etc.

THE GASEOUS STATE
Gases are very loosely packed.
 They do not have fixed shape.
 They do not have fixed volume .
 They have lowest density.
 They diffuse very rapidly .
 Ex – oxygen , carbon dioxide , nitrogen etc

