This plan was develop based on the barangay Captain's statement during our interview when we asked him about the problems of the barangay and he responded infrastructure problem. The ultimate purpose of this plan is to give the passengers a comfortable feeling in passing this way as well as the tricycle drivers who got minor or major damages in their tricycle because of the unpaved road. Community Profile Manambulan is a barangay in Tugbok, one of the rural areas in Davao City. Barangay Manambulan consists of approximately 3,000 populations according to the 2015 census. However, the population has increased over the years. Presently, the population has now reached more than 5,000 as it is reported that there is an increased number of people moving from the rural areas to the barangay for the past five years. Barangay Manambulan is a bit similar to other developing barangays within Davao City such as Guianga and Lubugan. It is quite a very rural area since the barangay is mostly surrounded by trees. Fruit harvesters and buyers visit Barangay Manambulan very often during peak seasons for it possesses a lot of fruit-bearing trees such as rambutan, lanzones, santol, mangoes, pomelo, and coconuts. Though the barangay does not have many structural necessities such as grocery stores and people’s market at least it has the basics like elementary school, barangay hall, water station namely Mawasa, and a health center. However, the barangay has a poor signal connection, impaired roads and it lacks water supply. As a community, the residents in barangay Manambulan are very responsible for their trash. People there would not litter anywhere. The barangay is a very peaceful, clean, and green community. The people do not live very close to other people as one’s area is already measured upon. Even though the barangay is not that very active when it comes to conducting activities such as pageants, sports, and anything similar, the barangay always held its fiesta on the 2nd week of September every year. The people there are helpful, kind, and affable.
