The Eucharist:
A Transformative Experience
The Power of the Eucharist

Jesus’ love is expressed through the Eucharist

Jesus loves us so much that he wants to provide us with
“spiritual nourishment”

We are united with Jesus’ humanity and divinity through
receiving the Eucharist

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in
me and I in him” (Jn 6: 56)

We cannot save ourselves - we need God’s grace
The Power of the Eucharist

We receive God’s grace through receiving the Eucharist

Receiving the Eucharist is a transformative experience

The Eucharist “brings us into an intimate communion with
[Jesus]”

The Eucharist allows “God [to accompany] us as we go
into the world to labor and live our everyday lives”

We are called to “reflect the image of [Jesus]” in
everything we do
