Now that we have finished reading Act One, you must
rewrite a scene of it in narrative form, as it would
appear in novel form.

For example, you could rewrite Macbeth and Banquo’s encounter
with the witches. Or, you could write about Lady Macbeth receiving
Macbeth’s letter. Or, you could write about Macbeth receiving news
that he is to be Thane of Glamis, etc.
What part of act one are you going to write about?

speech, adjectives and adverbs etc.)

Think about describing the setting (the landscape /
room / weather, lighting etc.)
