What is VPN and How does it work
A VPN works like a filter even if someone were to get their hands
on your data, it would be useless.
A VPN hides your IP address by letting the network redirect it
through a specially configured remote server run by a VPN host.
This means that if you surf online with a VPN, the VPN server
becomes the source of your data. This means your Internet Service
Provider (ISP) and other third parties cannot see which websites
you visit or what data you send and receive online

Types of VPN
Remote access and site to site
Remote access works by creating a virtual
tunnel between an employee’s device and the
company’s network . This tunnel goes through
the public internet but the data sent back and
forth through it is protected by encryption and
security protocols to help keep it private and
secure . the two main components of this type
of VPN are a network access server NAS and
VPN client software
Site-to-Site
A site-to-site virtual private network (VPN) is
a connection between two or more
networks, such as a corporate network and
a branch office network . site-to-site
VPNs are frequently used by companies
with multiple offices in different
geographic locations that need to access
and use the corporate network on an
ongoing basis.
