the black codes varied from each states
and changed to make the as loopholes to
make sure that a white man can pass the
test but a american american might not
because they didn't go to school
40 ACRES AND A MULE
Most black families were given 40
acres of land and one mule so they
could start theirs lives and start
making money for their families but not
every family got it and they got nothing
ABRAHAM LINCOLN’S
AND 10 % PLAN
Lincoln's plan was for the states
to come back into the union
they had to have at least 10% of
the states populations votes
had to be for a north view
KKK
the KKK was started to make
black people not want to vote
and they ended up killing a
bunch of black people in the
process and wanted to scare
and it scared
Passing of the 13, 14, 15 amendments
making and passing these
amendments was a failure
because the south just kept
finding legal loopholes like the
black codes and the south found
more loophole then anything
