Tips for framing GQ

advertisement
Hi,
I always suggest my learners to use words like - Is, Can, Does, Should to start their RQ's.
Following are the few pointers we use to frame a good research question:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
Is the issue global in nature?
Can it be researched?
Can you develop national & global perspective?
Is it a cause & effect question?
Is it too broad or too narrow
Can you give some examples more questions other than cause effect questions.
Is the question clear?
Can the question be answered?
Does it allow for a personal perspective after research and exploration of global and
national perspectives?
10. Does it allow for causes and consequences and comparisons of these?
11. Does it allow for a national course of action?
12. Are there enough different information sources to evaluate?
13. Is it leading?
14. Does it contain bias?
15. Is it too vague?
16. Can it be argued.
Hope this is useful!
