Stories Galore Round 1: As a group you should begin with the exposition of the story you want to tell. Use figurative language to describe the setting. Establish your point of view (who is narrating the story?). Then, you should introduce your main character. What is the situation? Round 2: After rotating stories, you will add details and characters to the new story. Be sure to include an antagonist. Create a conflict for the main character to overcome. Round 3: Rotate. Add more problems for the characters to work through. Use figurative language to characterize the characters. Include a humorous or tragic moment. Include dialogue. Round 4: Rotate. Use a flashback or foreshadowing to build up the story. Lead events to a climax in which the main conflict has reached a boiling point. Round 5: Rotate. Continue the story with a possible ending in mind. Round 6: Rotate. Conclude the story and come to a resolution. 1 person from each group will present the final product to the class.
