Warm Greetings from Ethiopian FIH Team!
As received from Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), and the directive issued by the
COVID-19 Command and Control Centre (CCC), kindly note that inbound and transit
passenger(s) operation from any point(s) located in the Democratic Republic of the
Congo (Congo- Kinshasa) to the airports in the Emirate of Dubai are permitted,
effective from 29th January 2022 at 14:30hrs. LT, subject to the conditions set
out below.
a) Present a VALID Negative Covid-19 Test certificate that should be based on a
molecular diagnostic test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid
for SARS-COV-2 viral RNA, that is issued within the valid time frame, namely,
(48) hours from the time of collecting the sample and from an approved health
service provider, which use QR code System.
b) Even though DCAA doesn’t require second rapid test as it used to, Ethiopian
has decided to temporarily make Rapid PCR test at ADD for passenger(s)
originating from: DRC, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Sudan subject to a
revision in the future.
c) Undergo a PCR test upon arrival in Dubai and self-quarantine until a negative
test result is released to the passenger. In the event the passenger is tested
positive, then such passenger shall follow the guidelines issued by the relevant
Health Authority in the Emirate of Dubai.
d) For Transit Passenger(s), the rules/conditions governing entry at the final
destination of the transit passenger(s) shall be applicable.
e) Passengers should be aware of the consent form that they are going to sign up
on check-in. Form Is attached, and French version will be available at the
airport.
f) This does not apply to UAE Nationals, Official Delegation, Members of the
diplomatic mission and golden visa holders, The inbound passengers escorting
a 1st degree UAE nationals’ relative, Government workers,
g) Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing requirement at the
Airport, we strongly recommend all paxs to show up for check-in at least 4
hours before your departure time. Passengers who arrive late might be
refused for check-in.
