The only way we can find true happiness is by being conformed to God’s will Prayer is the way we get to know God, and to know shy His will for us is the best for us. *12. The Christian prays to the Father, through the Son, and with the aid (or, help) of the Holy Spirit. The Lord’s Prayer *13. It shows our complete dependence upon God for everything, and how we should not call upon God if we have not made peace with those around us. Prayer is a Relationship *14. Based on the Epistle recommended in the READINGS from: Romans 8:26-27, St. Paul indicates that there is no such thing as wasted prayer because the Holy Spirit intercedes for us (with sighs too deep for words) to make our prayers presentable, to God. 23. Since heaven is an eternal conversation with the Trinity, prayer prepares us now for what is to come. 24. Constant prayer helps us to avoid mortal sin & reduces our tendency to commit venial (less serious) sins.
