Although all neW these h igh pedormance units retain a uniform appearance with their companion ITT Horizontal Luminaires and can be aesthetically iniermixed. or OUTSTANDING DURABILITY Rugged consiruction the upper housing and both the refractor door and the power-pad module are die-cast aluminum. All hardware is of corrosion- resistant materials and oversized for extra strength. Long lasting baked-on enamel iinish gives added protection even in highly corrosive, atmospheric conditions. Luminaire is designed for efficient, reliable operation in ternperatures down to -20" F. i t" Designed to interchange with other horizontals OPTICAL ASSEMBLY A computer designed reflector, in combination with precision'efractor oplcs. orooLces maximum light utilization. The superior anodized aluminum reilector finish insures energy saving, efficient illumination that will last. Available in LE.S. Iight d istribution patterns Type ll, ll-4 way (glass refractor only) and lll, to economically illuminate any area with excellent uni{ormity, tight brightness control and low glare. Available in high pressure sodium and mercury vapor. INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE EASE All units have an internal four-bolt slipfitter, adtusl able ior 1%" through 2" mast arms or fitter installations. The power-pad modules can be removed before installing the luminaire on the pole. This will reduce the weight by approximately 50% for easier handling. A 'one-hand ' trigger door latch makes the optical assembly readily accessible for relamping and routine servicing. The refractor door is easily removed by releasing the hinge keeper. t -!E I -'}:..':.'* One-Hand POWER-PAD MODULE The power-pad module is designed with heat d issipating exterior fins, u nder the ballast, to insure cooler operation and extend ballast life. Easy to service and easy to remove-the power-pad module speeds up tield servicing. Simply back out the captive screw and release trigger latch-the entire electrical assembly swings open and readily lifts ofl from the secure, heaw duty hinge. Lift-off Power-Pad Module with Quick Electrical Disconnect Trigger Latch t I PROTECTIVE SEALS Reflector and refractor are gasket sealed with a polyester fiber "Breathing Seal' ". This provides a good mechanical gasket and barrier that filters and reduces contaminants from entering the optical system, thus maintaining high light output and reducing maintenance costs. OPTIONAL FEATURES Level lndicator can be provided for ground observer to evaluate luminaire position. Other options available: Polycarbonate or Glass Refractors (see ordering data), Glare Shield, factory wired single and double line Fusing.
