Privacy intrinsically connects to the behaviors that we show to others and the dictation of these behaviors in certain situations. Without this distinction between different social interactions, the roles that connect to a set of actions, rights, obligations, beliefs, and norms that people play in society, would have no essential meaning. For instance, if I told every person I had ever met every detail and every secret that I have or had, that when the time presented itself to come into a romantic relationship per say, there is nothing left for further discussion. This discussion is distinct to the relationship; it is a type of privacy that promotes a deeper understanding of each other, a part of intimacy in a relationship.
