TAKE AN ADVENTURES TOUR WITH JOZEF
BEHR OF HWANGE NATIONAL PARK IN
ZIMBABWE
Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe's northwest is one of Africa's best national parks
and should be on every safari enthusiast's bucket list. When I landed in Zimbabwe and
decided to explore the place and known the place closely so I decided to hire a camper
for Hwange Tourism. After some research, I got to know that “Camp Hwange” is the
most popular among Safari goers where I met a local guide named Jozef Behr. Jozef is
basically from the Zimbabwe and know this place heartily. He told us to that Zimbabwe
is might be a poor country but have numerous. He told me about the national park
“The Big Five and more than 100 additional mammal species roam Hwange's savanna
grasslands and woods, making it the world's most diverse national park in terms of
mammal richness”.
One of the most appealing aspects of Hwange is its accessibility; you can fly into
Victoria Falls and rent a vehicle or take a road transfer to the park, which is about an
hour away. “The park, which is about the size of Belgium, also has 50,000 elephants
and is noted for regular sightings of cheetah, leopard, and lion, as well as one of
Africa's largest populations of the endangered wild dog and uncommon species like
roan and sable. The 500 species of birds listed here will impress birdwatchers” Jozef
Behr stated.
If you are also adventure enthusiastic then you should explore this national park, the
most ideal time to visit this naturally inhabited place is the dry winter months. As I
mentioned before, I started my safari adventure at Hwange national park with Camp
Hwange and Mr. Jozef Behr. Camp Hwange is just three hours from Victoria falls. They
provided me with a comfortable chalet to sleep in that made your trip intimate as well
as a new way to connect with your family. There are a total of 8 chalets and all of the
chalets, as well as the main lodge, provide views of a permanent water hole teeming
with animals. Day and night wildlife drives, as well as walking safaris, are among the
activities available.
Mr. Jozef Behr told me and other safari members about the three attractions of the
Hwange national park- The Scenery, The Grazers, The Predators. “Thousands of people
visit Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park every year during the dry season, from July to
October, when the waterholes become a wildlife sanctuary and the foliage thins out,
making it easier to view animals. If you want to avoid the crowds, visit the Hwange
National Park during the green season, which runs from November to April. The park's
plant life will be greener at this time, and there's a strong possibility you'll observe
infants finding their feet in the wild. The green season is also the finest time to go
birding since migrating birds converge on the park in large numbers” Mr. Jozef Behr
says.
In the green season, the national comes to its life, the land appears full of green lashes
and tall lushing trees. It appears different in green season. Jozef Behr also told us that
the lush green grassland attracts most grazers such as Zebra, impala, Kudu to come
out of their hideout and enjoy the season. And as similar to that all of these grazers
attract most Predators such as Lion, Cheetah to hunt grazers in term of feeding
themselves. The green season comes with the chance to see all oof these animals at
the same time.
