Writing tasks – Short story
Choose one of the following tasks:
1. Write a short story about an Indigenous teenager who feels torn between the
tradional culture of his/her people and a more modern way of life.
2. Imagine you were a teenager in the deep south of USA in the 1900s. Write a
short story about a teenager who is involved in the civil rights movement. You
may choose the point of view yourself (1.person etc.).
3. Imagine you see or experience someone who is being treated unfairly based on
their race/skin color, religion, ancestry etc.. Write a short story about what you
or a fictional character would do.
4.
Imagine you are one of the persons in this picure. Write a short story where
this picture/situation is included.
