Nilotic Language Nilotic languages, as shown by the word “Nilotic”, are mainly spoken by the Nilotic peoples who are migrated from the Nile River. Now they are mainly separated in northwestern Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan, and western Ethiopia southward across Uganda and Kenya into northern Tanzania. The Nilotic Language family have 29-53 sub-languages, mainly are divided into three branches, the Eastern Branch, the Southern Branch, and the Western Branch. The Nilotic language are significantly and sustained influenced by other side factors since modern times such as the adding of the international boundaries across their traditional areas, the modern education systems, the government policies. War, famine, medical care, and some safety concern also caused some significant damage. The thrive and Lost of the Nilotic Languages are just one of the representatives of the traditional languages being gradually forgotten caused by many factors in the modern world. The traditional cultural elements should be well-preserved and protected by the humans.
