Conducted the research in two phases:
• Online Survey
• Sample size: 20
• Target audience: Fanshawe students
• 10 brief questions
• One-on-one interview
• 03 interviewee
• Interview time: 15 mins
• 05 brief questions
Results
• We have received 25 responses
• Despite the pandemic, students travel
overseas for education
Discussion
• Challenges faced by international students
• It has relevance to present-day services
• The responses were more than expected
• Limitations:
• Limited interviewees
• Convenience pools of respondents
• Similar age & background
Conclusion
• Key challenges found were:
• Employment opportunities
• Harsh weather conditions
• Accommodation issues
• Active interaction with college students
support team
• Students want classes to be offline (inperson)
