Complete these steps to compress (zip) your files and submit them to your instructor.
1. Click the Start menu, and then click Documents.
2. Make sure the Create_a_Web_Page folder contains your file(s):
index.html
square.png
starter.txt

3. Right-click the Create_a_Web_Page folder, then click Rename. Type
Create_a_Web_Page_Assignment_ and your full name, and then press the ENTER key. TIP: For
example, if your name is Kelly Marshall, the folder name will look like this:
Create_a_Web_Page_Assignment_KellyMarshall
4. If you do not type the name correctly on the first try, right-click the folder, click Rename, type the
name, and then press the ENTER key.
5. Right-click the Create_a_Web_Page_Assignment folder. Next, click Send to, and then click
Compressed (zip folder).
6. A compressed (zipped) version of the assignment folder will appear in the same location as the
original folder. It will have the same name as the original, but with a zip folder icon.
7. Submit your compressed Create_a_Web_Page_Assignment folder to your instructor. TIP: Ask your
instructor if you need help.
