refers to the tone of relationships between people who
work or live together.

among people through an organisation’s formal and informal
networks.

Employees feels free to express opinions, voice complaints and
offer suggestions to their superiors.
Employees talk freely among themselves about important policy
decisions.
Information flows freely within the organization.
 It
makes communication more effective and it makes it easier
to accomplish organizational goals.
 It
is supportive, works are willing to participate and there is
trust within the organization.
This climate discourages communication as persons feel like
they are judged and criticized.
In such climates, power, rather than communication is used to
control the relationship.
Even the most harmless piece of constructive criticism will
probably be perceived as a threat.
Workers tend to be closed off and not willing to share ideas.
They often feel demotivate and are not willing to do anything
extra.
Workers tend to also be defensive when communicating.
