Article 4 of the law defines discrimination as: Every distinction, exclusion or restriction based on ethnic or national origin, sex, age, disability, social or economic status, health, pregnancy, language, religion, opinion, sexual preferences, civil status or any other, that impedes recognition or enjoyment or fights and real equality in terms of opportunities for people. Since 2010, recognition of same-sex couples is legalised On 28 November 2011, the first two same-sex marriages occurred in Quintana Roo after it was discovered that Quintana Roo's Civil Code did not explicitly prohibit same-sex marriage. Also In 2011, the Mexican Constitution was amended to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation As of Now Mexico has allowed the access to IVF for lesbians and hope that in coming days it strengthens it's value to provide a safe heaven for each and every human being irrespective of their sexual orientation
