1. The Tendergreen mustard greens is a bush type crop that reaches a height of 18 inches. The mustard green is very pest resistant and for the most part is disease resistant they are susceptible to fungal infection. 2. For planting keep rows 10-12” apart. When the seedlings emerge thin them to be 5-6” apart. 3. One pack of about 2000 seeds should provide enough sprouts to plant one sector of the acre. 4. The best time to plant these crops for spring harvest is early fall to late summer roughly ten weeks from the first frost. The plants grow best in cool climates with short growing seasons and kept moist. Using pine mulch will help in stopping weed growth around the mustard greens leading to more available nutrients. 5. Mustard greens take 80-85 days to reach maturity. For continual harvest you can pick the leaves or plant a section every 10-14 days. On average you are able to get 100-120 Lbs of mustard greens per acre.
