Observation Chart o Copy table 1 onto a piece of paper. Properties you will be observing: o Review the signs of a chemical change from your notes. PURPOSE: “To identify certain changes as being either physical or chemical”. HYPOTHESIS: Read each of the 4 activities and speculate whether each would result in a physical or chemical change. MATERIALS & PROCEDURE: You may use the outline in the text as a guide. Be sure to change any substances or equipment that were modified for your particular classroom.
