Odel PLC
Odel PLC is a fashion retailing company that includes over 140 fashion brands
around the world. The company was founded by Ms. Otara Del Gunawardene in
1990. In 2014 after recording nearly LKR 2 billion net profit she sold 45 percent
of her shares for LKR 2.7 billion to Softlogic Holdings and exited the company.
Softlogic has gradually acquired the ODEL PLC and now they held 96.67 percent
of the company shares (Odel 2022).

Uga escapes management Pvt Ltd is one of the leading resorts
chains in Sri Lanka with 20 luxury villas located in astonishing
destinations that can live through an unforgettable experience. The
company is fully owned by the Finco Group. Initially, the company
was named Uga Resorts and in 2012 it was rebranded as Uga
Escapes. The name 'Uga ' came from the very first resort of the
company Uga Ulagalla walawwa in Anuradhapura. It was the home
of chieftain 150 years back in Anuradhapura (ugaescapes 2022).

Bay has secured Number 09 among Top 10 for Luxury Hotels, Number 14 among Best Service and Number
03 among Top Hotels. In addition Residence has been ranked Number 24th among Best Service, Number
09 among Top 25 for Romantic Destinations and Number 25 among Top 25 Small Hotels.
• Ranking Number 14 among the Top 25 Small Hotels in Asia, Number 10 among the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in
Asia, Number 17 among the Top 25 for Best Service in Asia, and Number 20 among the Top 25 for

HDFC, Housing Development Finance Corporation is a Licensed Specialized Bank
that has 51 percent of shares are owned by the Sri Lankan Government while
Lanka Orix Leasing Company PLC holds 15 percent and Perpetual Capital (Pvt)
Ltd holds 14.03 shares respectively. The bank was established in 1984 as a
building society. Now HDFC is focused on housing finance providing all the
financial needs that are related to the house buildings for low and middleincome persons in Sri Lanka. The number one goal of the HDFC bank towards
sustainability is no poverty. And they have put significant effort to achieve the
main goal of the bank (HDFC 2022).

economic, environmental and social performance reporting an internationally
recognized prestige awards in the fields of sustainability reporting. HDFC Bank has
