When we rub things together,
they become warm because of
the heat produced.
Burning

We may use dried leaves or dried
wood to build a campfire.
Sitting by a campfire will give off
heat. Remember to keep your
distance from the fire. We should
never get too close to a fire or we
may get burned.
Barbecuing
When we cook outdoors, we usually burn wood or charcoal to
give us the heat we need to cook our food.
