NOTE:
The Airworthiness Limitations section is FAA-approved and specifies the inspections and
maintenance required by Parts 43.16 and 91.403 of Title 14 of the Code of Federal
Regulations, unless an alternative program has been approved by the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA).
NOTE:
The inspections, intervals, and component time limits detailed in the Airworthiness
Limitations sections of this manual are mandatory and must be adhered to in order to
comply with type certification for the Model 560XL airplane.
Airworthiness Limitations Documents

This chapter gives the mandatory intervals for components and airplane structures that are life-limited
or that require scheduled inspection to maintain the airworthiness of the airplane. This chapter applies
to items such as fatigue components, structures and systems, which are considered a part of the
certification process.
The Airworthiness Limitations chapter of the Model 560XL Maintenance Manual contains the following
sections:
(1) Chapter 4-10-01, AIRWORTHINESS LIMITATIONS INSPECTION TIME LIMITS provides a list
of all airworthiness limitations maintenance tasks for the Model 560XL Airplane.
(a) Chapter 4-10-01, Table 3, System and Structural Component Time limit Tasks, provides a
consolidated list of component time limit tasks duplicated from 4-10-01 to assist operators
in maintenance planning.
(2) Chapter 4-10-02, AIRWORTHINESS LIMITATIONS INSPECTION TIME LIMITS (Russian
Certified Airplanes) provides a list of all airworthiness limitations maintenance tasks for Model
560XL Airplanes certified in Russia.
(a) Chapter 4-10-02, Table 3, Russian System and Structural Component Time Limit Tasks,
provides a consolidated list of component time limit tasks duplicated from 4-10-02 to assist
operators in maintenance planning.
(3) Chapter 4-12-00, AIRWORTHINESS LIMITATIONS INSPECTION DOCUMENTS provides a list
of all Model 560XL airworthiness limitation inspection documents and the associated inspection
intervals.

System Maintenance Requirements (Refer to Airworthiness Limitations Inspection Time Limits, Table
1 in this chapter.)
(1) A System Maintenance Requirement is a mandatory system or component inspection specifically
defined to detect latent, safety-related failures.
B.
Structural Limitations Items (Refer to Airworthiness Limitations Inspection Time Limits, Table 2 in this
chapter.)
(1) An Structural Limitation Item is a mandatory structural inspection of critical items defined during
the certification process using a fatigue or damage tolerance assessment.

Composite Control Surface Paint Colors
(1) The upper surface of flaps must have a color of paint having a reflectance value of 26 or greater.

Purpose and Use
A.
This section includes all airworthiness limitations maintenance tasks for the Model 560XL Airplane.
NOTE:
Refer to Chapter 5-12-00, MSG-3 Inspection Documents and Other Required Tasks for a
complete list of the Model 560XL scheduled inspection requirements.

The intervals specified represent the maximum time allowable between inspections.
C.
The MM task numbers are hyperlinked to task details in this manual. The Zone number(s) are also
hyperlinked to Chapter 6, Airplane Zoning - Description and Operation to assist in planning and
completing the tasks.
D.
System Maintenance Requirements
(1) System inspections and Component Time Limits are given in Table 1 and Table 3. The tasks
and intervals specified are mandatory and cannot be changed, escalated, or deleted without the
concurrence of the responsible Aircraft Certification Office (ACO).
E.
Structural Inspection Time Limits
(1) In accordance with §25.571(a) Inspection Time Limits and Component Time Limits are defined
for the Model 560XL and presented in Table 2 and Table 3.
F.
Corrosion Prevention
(1) The airworthiness limitations recondition and discard intervals assume corrosion is maintained
to Level 1 or better. Level 1 is achieved by maintaining the aircraft according to the MSG-3
maintenance procedures identified in this Model 560XL Maintenance Manual. Refer to Chapter
5-10-00, Maintenance Planning Document, Corrosion Prevention and Control Program (CPCP)
for further details.

Purpose and Use
A.
This section includes all airworthiness limitations maintenance tasks for Model 560XL Airplanes
certified in Russia.
NOTE:
Refer to Chapter 5-12-00, MSG-3 Inspection Documents and Other Required Tasks for a
complete list of the Model 560XL scheduled inspection requirements.
B.
The intervals specified represent the maximum time allowable between inspections.
C.
The MM task numbers are hyperlinked to task details in this manual. The Zone number(s) are also
hyperlinked to Chapter 6, Airplane Zoning - Description and Operation to assist in planning and
completing the tasks.
D.
System Maintenance Requirements
(1) System inspections and Component Time Limits are given in Table 1 and Table 3. The tasks
and intervals specified are mandatory and cannot be changed, escalated, or deleted without the
concurrence of the responsible Aircraft Certification Office (ACO).
E.
Structural Inspection Time Limits
(1) In accordance with §25.571(a) Inspection Time Limits and Component Time Limits are defined
for the Model 560XL and presented in Table 2 and Table 3.
F.
Corrosion Prevention
(1) The airworthiness limitations recondition and discard intervals assume corrosion is maintained
to Level 1 or better. Level 1 is achieved by maintaining the aircraft according to the MSG-3
maintenance procedures identified in this Model 560XL Maintenance Manual. Refer to Chapter
5-10-00, Maintenance Planning Document, Corrosion Prevention and Control Program (CPCP)
for further details.

Purpose and Use

This section provides an overview of all Model 560XL airworthiness inspection intervals and
associated Airworthiness Limitations Inspection Documents.
NOTE:
B.
Airworthiness Limitations Inspection Documents are provided to group various tasks with the same
interval, and facilitate completing the tasks at a specified downtime. Airworthiness Limitations
Inspection Documents are numbered as shown below in sequential order, with Inspection Document
4-12-MA the first Airworthiness Limitations Inspection Documents due.

Chapter 5-12-00, MSG-3 Inspection Documents and Other Required Tasks, Table 1, and

Standard Manufacturer’s Recommended Continuous Airworthiness Inspection Program.
The "M" designation preceding the document letter indicates that these are mandatory
inspections, which are required as a condition of certification.
