Project Details
Automatic control of a model elevator based on Ni LabView and myDAQ
Introduction:
This project aims to use the myDAQ device with programming development software,
LabVIEW, for the education of automatic control.
Automatic control is used everywhere in the world in very many industries. It is used in
everything from controlling the chemicals in a paper making facility to the cruise control in a
car. To go with this is a lot of programming to control the processes in various programming
languages.
The goal of the project is to create a functioning control system for the elevator, fulfilling the
necessary specifications for stability, responsiveness and accuracy.
Design of Model Elevator Main Flowchart
The software writing of the model elevator control system uses the LabVIEW graphical
programming language
Proposed Methodology
Software design of model elevator control system includes design of model elevator
operation process and LabVIEW model elevator control procedures, and man-machine
interaction interface of LabVIEW front panel model elevator.
Expected Results
We expect with our model to achieve the work of an automated Elevator which can be called
on any floor, has sensors to detect the presence of car using floor sensors,and to advance the
car to another floor etc and to achieve the goal of experimental learning.
