The first perspective I am going to talk about is the behavioral perspective. This is focusing on learned and observed behaviors. I can relate this to myself whenever I was a kid. I learned how to ride my bike by watching my family ride theirs. I saw how they adjusted their weight to stay balanced and mimicked them. First, I had to start with training wheels then finally learned to balance better. The second perspective I am going to talk about is the cognitive perspective. This is focusing on an individual’s mental processes. I can relate this to myself whenever I am in school. In every class, specifically math, I have to remember how to do the things in previous lessons to do the later ones. This is achieved through repetition of the material given to you. The third perspective I am going to talk about is the humanistic perspective. This is focusing on behavior and thought. I can relate this to myself whenever I was younger. I used to be overweight and decided to lose a lot of weight through healthy behavior. This was achieved through eating better foods and working out.
