Dear MSD
My name is Anotida Maramba, I am writing this letter to inform you about the assisting of poor
public schools, many of them are which are in dire need of assistance. A large number of schools
here in South Africa are facing serious cases of poverty. MSD is a well-known Company here in South
Africa, because it provides innovative health solutions through its medicines, vaccines, biological
therapies and animal health products. MSD is big enough, one, to donate and, two, it is big enough
to influence other companies you work with as well as the people who use their products.
The South African education system has very poor facilities like their building infrastructure, which is
very poor, they also lack basic needs like water, poorly made teaching and learning objects like
books to write in and textbooks, desks, and boards to write in, and not very educated teachers,
some schools do not have educators at all.
For these issues stated above we ask for your assistance in making learning for these children better
and more effective. This cand be done by proving funds to upgrade their infrastructure or to even
provide the materials to build what is needed, spreading the word on social media, posters and
billboards, and partnering with other companies, creating some sort of fundraising to generate funds
for the schools, finding a way, like campaigning, to persuade the government to take action. It would
be greatly appreciated if we could meet up an discuss the actions we can take to create better
education for the children, Thank you.
