CONTENT:
Narrative writing- students will be provided with a presentation with information on the structure of a narrative and the main features of imaginative writings. Students will then
understand the way in which different use of words can change an empty passage and be transformed into different mood and settings with the use of creative language.

Students settle, mark the roll.

Copy down and understand the structure of a narrative and the main features of imaginative writing.
Narrative structure
- Go through orientation, complication, climax, resolution with students. Students to copy down in their
books.

RESOURCES:

2 x 25 = 50 stapled copies
Brainstorm different moods that the human body experiences. How can we use colour or descriptive
words to describe these moods? Students will then create four different passages that create different
moods by using creative language.
