INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Study
In recent years, online shopping has become conventional, and shoppers have accepted it. It is
gaining quality because of its multiple benefits. From the consumer's perspective, online shopping
provides an outsized choice of things at cheap and clear costs. A bigger choice of products and services,
in addition to an additional convenient looking expertise conventional shopping's pestiferous
characteristics, are no longer possibility.
Navigating through crowds and standing in an exceedingly long queue at the cashier's counter
choosing the proper name for your online service, particularly on the internet, is vital important. The
study's main goal is to be told however customers feel concerning the merchandise. English as a

1.2 Theoretical/Conceptual Framework
In 1962, Hawkins Stern believed heavily in the idea of impulse behavior. He argued that sudden

The purpose of the study is to figure out the importance of Online Shopping and its Benefits,
Advantages & Disadvantages. Online shopping is very useful during this pandemic because we're not able
to go outside. Through online shopping, everyone can buy faster, have more alternatives, and can order
various products or services at lower prices. Online shopping provides consumers with more information
and opportunities to compare products and prices, with greater product selection, convenience, and ease
of finding desired products online. We also choose this topic for us to be aware of scamming or any issue
or problem that we can avoid.
BENEFITS OF ONLINE SHIPPING: Convenience, Better Prices, More Variety, No Crowds.
ADVANTAGES OF ONLINE SHOPPING: Easy to send gifts, Easy price comparisons, you can
buy used or damaged items at a lower price, discreet purchases are easier.
DISADVANTAGES OF ONLINE SHOPPING: Shipping Problems & Delays, Risk of Fraud,
Negative Environmental Impact of Packaging & Gas, Spending too much time Online.
1.5 Scope and limitation of the study
The scope of the study is to understand that online shopping is the latest medium through which
consumers demand their needs and wants that's why the online sellers should know what are the factors
that influence the online consumers and also there are some factors according to which consumers buy
their products thru online. The main objective of Online Shopping is to manage the details of shopping
thru the internet and pay bills online. It manages all the information about shopping for products.
1.6 Definition of Terms
For a better understanding of this study, the following terms are defined in the context of this
research.
Commerce
It refers to an activity of buying and selling using smartphones, tablets, laptops, and computers.
The main purpose of commerce to our topic is to attract more customers and to make your buying
process uncomplicated.
Consumers
It is a process of deciding to purchase a product in e-commerce. The use of consumers to our
topic is to identify if someone is using the product but not from a specific brand. And there are 263
million consumers who shop online.
Fraud
Fraud is providing a false statement to deceive the victim to gain something. Fraud is a crime
that includes Assets misappropriation, Bribery and corruption, and financial statement deception. Fraud
is also common in online shopping which involves scamming.
Impulsive purchase
Impulsive purchase is buying a product without thinking for so long or planning. It also includes
Pure impulse purchase, Suggestion impulse purchase, Reminder impulsive purchase, and Planned
impulse purchase. Online shopping can also become impulsive buying because if you urge to buy
something you can just use your smartphones.

Is a product that you can buy or sell.

Social networking/social media help us to discover and to have more knowledge in our society.
