Definitions of vulnerability among researchers do vary however, there a re similar components that cut across most definitions:

Brene definition: Emotions we experience during times of uncertainty ,risk, and emotional exposure
Vulnerability is the willingness to show up and share your authentic self while knowing that you have no control over
the outcome of your interactions.
