LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
I am pleased to write this reference at the request of Mr. Zain Ul Abideen, who intends to apply
for PhD program and higher studies abroad. I have known Mr. Zain Ul Abideen since 2019 when he
enrolled into MPhil Development Studies at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Islamabad
and as coordinator of PIDE School of Social Sciences, I have found him actively participating in
every educational program and extra circular activities happening in PIDE.
In September, 2020, he started working on his qualitative thesis titled “Analysis of Affordability and
Accessibility of Public Transport to Women and Disabled Persons in Islamabad” for fulfillment
of his MPhil degree under my supervision as his Co-Supervisor. He efficiently collected the data
from field and analyzed it well. The quality of research work performed during his MPhil thesis was
satisfying and he managed the work to suggest possible transport solutions for women and disabled
persons.
Mr. Zain Ul Abideen is motivated, active and diligent student and he is able to conduct independent
research work. Knowing tendency to improve himself, I strongly recommend him for the future study
programs abroad and wish him all the best for the future.
