How are the fruit enzyme drinks made?
Fruit enzyme drinks are fermented from a combination fruits, sugar and water in a tightly
sealed container.
During fermentation, microorganisms found in the fruits help to break down larger organic
molecules into simpler ones which can be more readily absorbed into the human body. It is a
natural process which promotes the production of vitamins, essential amino acids, antinutrients and proteins, which have higher digestibility.
Instead of using the traditional method of fermentation in glass containers for 3 - 4 weeks
(which is not only long but prone to explosion due to the build-up of carbon dioxide during
fermentation), we make use of a specially manufactured container which catalyses the
fermentation process down to 3 – 4 days. This is the reason why we are able to produce these
drinks within a shorter period of time.
