You will develop a better understanding of the U.S. and your role in our local community. Classroom Expectations Students will be respectful to Mr. Lynch and their peers Students will be responsible in performing to their best ability and improving on their skills Students will be active in attending class and participating during class Procedures will be outlined in classroom for each activity and event. Materials Needed Typical Day 1” 3 ring binder 3 dividers with labels Loose leaf paper 2-pocket folder Pencil or Pen Question of the Day (Q.O.D.): a question related to current events Do Now: an activity assigned to the class at the beginning of the mod Background Information: usually teacher-led and students taking notes Activity: could be in the form of a reading assignment, group discussion, debate, writing assignment, role play, project, map work, and more! Reflection: personal reflection or group discussion over the material Students will need these items every day! Homework Grading Policy Student- I have read and Homework assignments will consist of additional practice with terms or concepts, projects, and studying for tests/quizzes. Homework is due the day after it is assigned unless otherwise noted. The completion of homework is vital.
