2017 IN-SERVICE TRAINING (INSET) PROPOSAL
I.
Title: School In-Service Training On Renewing Commitment and improvement of
Delivery of Basic Education
II.
Training Purpose/Objective: The purpose of the training is to initiate a process of
improvement in school and its staff, particularly in adapting and managing change,
conducts workshop in instructional materials development and

III.
Rationale: One of the Departments program trusts is the K to 12 Basic Education
Program that would cater a lifelong learning for our students. In line with this, teachers
being the front liners must be equipped with the necessary tool to manage and execute
a meaningful learning process of our students. Continues professional development
keep teachers up-to-date on new research and on how children learn, emerging
technology tools for the classroom, and new curriculum resources.
Since students are our main clientele, teachers must be connected to and
derived from working with students and understanding their behavior. Aside from
teacher’s development, one reason why this training will be conducted is for the
students welfare and protection. This training is also in line with the DepEd’s Core
Values Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Maka-kalikasan and lastly Maka-bansa which anchored
on the following topics; SDRRMC topics for maka-kalikasan, child protection, welfare
and Gender & Development for Maka-Diyos and maka-tao, and action research,
property management and accountability for maka-bansa.

Logistical and Budgetary Requirements:
Date of Training : October 25 – 28, 2016
Registration Fee : ₱ 150.00
Expected Number of Participants : 22 (16 Main Campus and 6 Extension Campus
including Volunteer Teachers)
Venue : In House
Expected Amount of Expenses: (From the Registration Fee)
Venue: None (School Science Laboratory)
Snacks ; ₱ 120.00. - 8 snacks @ 15.00
LCD Projector Rental: ₱ 600.00 @ 200/day
School Counterpart: Reproduction and Provision of Materials to be used during the
Training (MOOE).

VI. Monitoring & Evaluation:
Monitoring and evaluation is an essential component of every activity. The preparation
and the secretariat committee will ensure the smooth implementation of the training. The
outcome determines the possible solutions and recommendations that will improve the
delivery of instructions to the learner. Output and Activity portfolios will be gathered by the
process observers for evaluation. Post-Training Evaluation Form will be used (See attached).
After the training is completed, a narrative report and pictorials will be submitted to the
Schools Division Office as mode of verification.

Tugdan National High School believes that the role of a teacher in schools as it is
inevitably one of the most crucial variable in affecting the student learning; both quantifiable
and qualitative development of a child. It is high time, that the administration will revisit, orient
and train mentors to effectively implement and deliver the aforesaid role.
In this regard, we are asking permission from your good office to allow us conduct a four
day School-Based In-Service Training from October 25 to 28, 2016. Attached herewith is the
Training Design and Matrix for your reference and approval.
