APPLICATION OF NAIL POLISH
People nowadays are after with how they are going to present their personality to other
people. Social media platforms became a way of women to find styles that will perfectly fit
their style and personality. One of those is the nail designs. Lots of nail designs are being
streaming on feeds of most of the women.
Plain manicure is a must to learn before learning different stylish nail arts. Learning also the
color that will fit your skin tone will surely, looks the woman presentable.
PLAIN MANICURE PROCEDURE
MATERIALS NEEDED: Color Enamel, Base coat, Top coat
REMINDER: application of nail polish is done after massage. Listed below is the basic steps
in using nail polish.
1.
Shake well the nail polish before using it. Some of the substance in nail polish bottle
settled down when it’s not used.
2. Thinned the nail polish present on the brush by smudging to the sides of the neck
of the nail polish bottle.
3. Put nail polish at the center of the nail plate. Let the brush spread before pushing
to the base of the nail, then brush down to the free edge.
4. Continue to put nail polish on the side and the other side. Make sure to brush or
paint nails continuously per side. Follow the picture below.

STEPS IN USING THE NAIL POLISH
1. Apply base coat, for 1 coat. This step is optional, depending
on the availability.
2. Apply thin coat of color enamel. Add another coat, once the
nail bed is coated with the first layer of color enamel.
3.
Finish it with the application of top coat. You may
use glossy or matte top coat. One coat only.
APPROPRIATE NAIL POLISH FOR YOUR SKIN TONE
1. Light skin tone – nude color, beige, blue undertone, dash pink, red
2. Medium skin tone – sheer white, tan, grey, neutral
colors, pastel colors
3. Dark skin tone – neon, bright colors
