(Color, silhouette, pattern, etc.) How do your eyes go around the design? Are they drawn to a specific area? Does the design work on all the dancers in the piece? (Body types, skin tones, ages, etc.) Does the design allow the dancers to fully execute the dance? Conceptual Check Does it honor the Director’s vision? (Theme, style, tone, period, etc.) Does it work with the other design areas? (Lighting, props, set, etc.) Does it honor your vision and design ideas? (Concept, inspiration, etc.) Does it work within the show concept, how does it flow with the other costume designs in the show? Resource Check Can it be executed in the timeframe and with the resources you have? If not how could you modify to achieve the same style, without overly compromising your vision?
