Job Description
Toyota Dealer Market Analyst - 6 Month Contract

Job Summary:
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for an automotive enthusiast to support our Dealer
Standards and Sales Operations department. This is a 6 month fixed contract or developmental opportunity and will
report to the Manager, Dealer Facility Standards. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating the
Canadian market for any identified Lexus and Toyota network representation opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:

Create extensive market studies using Urban Science software on an area(s) that would have potential to support a
new dealership or relocation of a current dealership.
Assist Zones by assembling all data and evaluating information for recommendations of an area.
Assists Zones & Lexus with quarterly reporting and dealer packages as well as current postal code data for Dealer
Trade Areas.
Responsible for coordination, communication and implementation of short term projects such as National Network
Studies, National DMA audits and the mandatory 5 year Government Census Walkover. Work with vendor to
maintain dealership locations/DMAs as well as basic registration/demographic data in Google Earth.
Coordinate with IHS (Polk), the delivery of data used in the Urban Science software to analyse the TCI National
Network
Maintains TCIs Dealer Master File to ensure data is up-to-date and correct (i.e. address changes, new Dealers,
Special Dealer Code requests…).
Maintains geography and all Dealer trade-area boundaries in mainframe.
Maintains and updates information on the Dealer Standards home page on the Toyota Toolbox.
Responsible for updates of the Toyota and Lexus Dealer Network Maps
Publish National Dealer Booklet annually and update master InDesign files as changes occur to support electronic
version on Infostream.
Maintains dealer information on the TMNA database as well as yearly financial results.
Review Executive Dealer Profile for any dealer updates
Responsible for coordinating and communicating annual Field Staff meeting.
What you bring:

College or University degree in Business or related discipline preferred
Two years of experience in automotive or market analysis
Self-starter who can work with limited supervision
Strong analytical abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Product (Excel, Access, etc)
Adobe InDesign software
Bilingual abilities are an asset
Proven selling success of product or idea to a group of individuals
