• Be ethical in cyberspace.
RULE #3 : You are in cyberspace
• Different rules and behaviors are
expected in different domains.
• Explore first before share your ideas.
RULE #4 : Respect other peoples
time and bandwidth
• Avoid posting items multiple times.
• Understand that your are not the
center in all forums.
RULE #5 : GOOD LOOK IN ONLINE!
• Always check your grammar or any
statements before you post.
• The ideas make sense.
RULE #6 : SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE
• Share your ideas but make sure these
are true and proven.
• Research instead if you encounter
questions that are not familiar.
RULE #7 : Help keep flame
wars under control
• Flaming – when people express their
opinions strongly and with emotion,
despite others feelings on a topic.
• Be careful how involved you get into a
flame war.
RULE #8 : Respect the privacy
• Respect other’s privacy the way you
would want to have your respected.
• Mind your own business.
RULE #9 : Don’t abuse you power
• Have more power does not give you the right to
take advantage of them.
• Share you skills instead.
RULE #10 : Forgiving other’s mistakes
• Be polite.
• Let them know the ideas in a nice way.
