Good Practice Checklist Displaying children’s works - Displays should be colourful, interesting, in good condition and eyecatching. - Look at the display through a child’s eyes level. - Display different materials and different seasons and encourage children to feel the displays. - Involve several senses. This is particularly stimulating for children. - Consider appropriate cultures, backgrounds, language and symbols used. - Consider safety when displaying or mounting the displays. - Label the displays individually and clearly. - Display all children’s works appropriately. - Involve displays of children works as much as possible. - Using 3D, interest tables and hanging displays. - Allow children to put their own work up by having their own small display board, if possible. - To maintain interest and relate to the curriculum, therefore the displays should change regularly.
