Battle mind is called resilience training. This is a completely different mindset for individuals. There are stigmas and barriers for soldiers to overcome in order to create a mindset ready for battle. Our country has been in a constant state of war since 1989. There is a large population of Americans who have created a now Warrior class in present day America. According to Army statistics there are over 7 million warriors or trained soldiers in American society today and not all of those soldiers are on current active duty. This is not including Police, State and Intelligence organizations. This group of people are largely underserved and unrecognized when dealing with mental health concerns. As a group this week research and define what Battlemind is and how the government approaches screening for combat soldiers. Research how soldiers are treated post combat in both clinical arenas as well as corporate arenas. Write up a 5 page paper documenting your research. APA format – No abstract needed. Only academic and government articles permitted. 3rd submission: Exploring Personality. Choose any personality tests that are offered. After taking the personality tests, please write a paper (2 pages) about your experience. Give the name of the test and any relevant information. You may want to include your opinion about the test, the theory being used, whether or not the information useful/accurate, etc. Then find one empirical article on personality (your choice) and complete an article summary. The finished product will have a cover page, a two page paper, and article summary, and a copy of the first page of the article summarized. Additional details, instructions, and resources available in Assignment 3 for Project 2: Personality.
