‘Career Coach’ Career Assessment
As you move forward in your education and employment pursuits, you must ask yourself, “What am I
pursuing? What are my goals – what do I dream of doing/ being?” And ultimately, “how do I make
these dreams a reality?”
One of the most useful tools in answering the above questions is the Career Assessment. There are
many different types, and some will yield different results, but all are helpful in offering suggestions and
narrowing down the field of possible options. Taken along with personality assessments, guidance/
academic counseling, and our own self-exploration, a Career Assessment can help shape the pathway to
the ideal future for you.
Follow the instructions to take the San Diego Workforce Partnership ‘Career Coach’ online Career
Assessment. Then answer the questions below.
1.) Log on to https://workforce.emsicc.com/?radius=&region=Southern%20Border%20Region
2.) Select ‘Take the Career Assessment.’
3.) Select ’60 question assessment.’
4.) Answer all questions, and at the end select what level of education you are interested in pursuing.
